MIST HOUSE

A conceptual residential conversion breathing new life into a glass domed, former entertaining space. It is a sensitive design, respecting the buildings unique form and connecting the clients to the lakeside setting.

The water’s free flowing form and energy is echoed inside and out through sweeping forms and ripples. Excitement is provided through an unexpected shot of water and shafts of light. A highly considered palette of natural materials and bespoke pieces unifies the house, the landscape and the owners

The moodboard (above) captures the airiness of the glass dome, the soft ripples of the lake, the light, the natural colours and material palette. It references the owners love of wild swimming and their careers as geologists
